GhostVote
Anonymous group polls with no accounts, deleted when the vote ends.

- Product, design and engineering
The problem
Most “anonymous” polling tools still require accounts and log emails and network addresses, so people hold back their honest answer.
The results then sit on someone else’s server indefinitely.
What Megistus built
Encrypted in the browser
Polls are encrypted on the device before they leave it; the server stores only ciphertext it cannot read.
No accounts
No sign-ups or emails. Votes arrive with no identity attached.
Deleted on a timer
When the timer ends, the poll and its votes are permanently deleted.
Four formats
Vote, rank, draft and pick.
How it works
- 01ParticipantEncrypts the vote
- 02GhostVoteStores ciphertext only
- 03Timer endsEverything is deleted
- Encryption happens in the browser with AES-256-GCM, so the key never reaches the server.
- Proof-of-work checks deter ballot stuffing without asking anyone who they are.
