In the digital world, the fine print disappears. Most people click agree without reading it. That gap is where rights quietly get signed away — and it's the gap every Megistus project is built to close. Informed consent is the foundation of data ownership, and the first step is naming exactly what users are saying yes to.
File № MGSTS-001 · The fine print, on record

"We may share information about you with our trusted partners, affiliates, and third-party service providers to improve and personalize your experience."
Your life is their inventory.
Your location, your search history, your kid's bedtime — bundled, brokered, and resold to insurers, employers, and ad networks you've never heard of.
"We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or remove your content and account at any time, without notice, in our sole discretion."
They own the master. You hold a guest pass.
That photo, that record, that document — they can edit it, lose it, or take it away. You find out the day it's gone.
"You agree to resolve all disputes through binding individual arbitration and waive your right to participate in any class action."
You can't sue. You can't even join in.
If they breach your data, leak your records, or wrong you outright — your only recourse is a private arbitrator. Picked by them. On their turf.
"At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to the paid plan at the then-current rate."
The free trial is the trap.
A box you didn't check, in a menu you didn't open, enrolls you in a monthly charge that outlives forgotten emails and replaced cards.
"We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms."
The contract you signed expired Tuesday.
The rules can change with no email, no banner, no signature — and by the time you open the app again, you've already agreed to the new ones.

"We shall not be liable for any unauthorized access to your personal information resulting from a breach of our security measures."
Your name on the next breach list.
Email + birthday + address is enough for a scammer to clone you. Combined with broker data, your phone won't stop ringing for a year.
End of dossier · Six counts. One pattern.
The devil’s in the fine print — look closely.
Here is how Megistus answers each of those clauses, in our own terms.
The details are in our privacy policy, written in plain English.
